La Universidad Infraestructura

Universidad del Pacífico possesses significant infrastructure, the main premises being the Central Campus on Avenida Salaverry, two modern buildings on Jirón Sánchez Cerro, and the Language Center's two branches, located in the districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, among other buildings.

    Located in Pavilion H, this modern auditorium —among the most recently built premises at Universidad del Pacífico— with its sophisticated design and the best sound technology, bears the name of the late Professor, Juan Julio Wicht SJ, former Director of the Research Center of Universidad del Pacífico (CIUP) and former Dean of the School of Economics, as a memorial to his long and distinguished career.​

    It is a modern space with a large spectator capacity, where various university events, international conferences, book presentations and university-related activities are held.​

    Classrooms

    With over 80 classrooms devoted to teaching, Universidad del Pacífico continues to work toward offering better service to its students and provides them with spaces with modern and comfortable equipment. Currently, all the classrooms in Pavilion H have high-tech equipment and multimedia platforms, such as projectors, laptops, Internet access and audio-video systems. In addition, Universidad del Pacífico has the Blackboard platform, which turns lessons into an interactive and virtual experience.​

    It has over 50,000 books, 1,500 issues of periodical publications, 500 titles of audiovisual material, theses, business projects and a wide range of electronic resources. In addition, it holds the Pedro Benvenutto Collection, with over 4,500 works dating from the 17th-20th centuries, donated by Pedro Benvenutto Murrieta, President Emeritus of the University. ​

    Within the premises of Universidad del Pacífico, several types of cafeterias can be found. They are part of the university infrastructure, and give the campus environment a touch of warmth and comfort. They are open to the university community during the day and the evening.​

    Students' House

    The Students' House is a place to unwind and rest. The Provost's Office is located there, and most of the artistic, cultural and sport classes offered by the University are taught there. It also has a well-equipped exercise room. The Student Center (CEUP), the Students' Representatives (REUP) and the International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC) offices can also be found in the House. It is located at Inca Ripac 297, one block away from the Main Campus (from the entrance on Sanchez Cerro). It opens from Monday to Saturday.​

    Language Center – Miraflores

    Due to the success of the San Isidro branch and the high demand from students, the Language Center of Universidad del Pacífico opened its doors in a new branch located in Miraflores, at Avenida Benavides 1657. In a short time, this new branch has welcomed a significant number of students.​

    Located at Avenida Prescott 333, the Language Center of Universidad del Pacífico offers communicative and specialized English courses, courses in more than six languages, and the opportunity to prepare students to sit international exams for certification.​

    In April 2015, in the context of the World Creativity and Innovation Day, Universidad del Pacífico opened the Innovation Lab, a space for lecturers, students and administrative staff to develop innovation skills.​

    Universidad del Pacífico offers its students nine modern computer laboratories for lectures, workshops and seminars. In addition, the University offers the members of its community virtual computer rooms, through which they can remotely connect to the University's systems and programs.​

    Financial Laboratory

    With the Bloomberg platform, Reuters and the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL), the Financial Laboratory enables students to perform real-time simulations. Through this tool, students at Universidad del Pacífico are provided with a practical approach to the reality of the financial market.​

    To commemorate its fiftieth anniversary, Universidad del Pacífico opened Pavilion H in 2012. With an investment of 78 million soles, this modern building was designed by the renowned architect, José Orrego, and serves the purpose of providing the university community with better service.​

    Pavilion I

    Pavilion I, also known as Universidad del Pacífico Centers' Building, was opened in August 2014. This seven-story building comprises the following bodies: the School of Economics and Finance, the School of Law, the Academic Department of Economics, the Academic Department of Finance, the Academic Department of Humanities, the Academic Department of Law, the Research Center, the Public Administration School, the Center for Leadership, Ethics and Social Responsibility, the Center for Entrepreneurship, the Center for Mining and Sustainability Studies, and the Center for Peru-China Studies.​

    With the purpose of providing students with better educational service, Universidad del Pacífico is to open a new building with state-of-the-art technology which will house the Graduate School and the Public Administration School. This six-story building will have fifteen classrooms devoted to teaching and two aula magnas. The common areas will include a meeting room, study rooms and parking spaces.​

    Geis Square

    It is the central area in the Main Campus of Universidad del Pacífico, and the students' meeting point. The University's main social events are held there. It bears the name of Alfonso Geis, in memoriam, an industrial businessman of Catalan origin who bequeathed part of his estate to the University upon his death.

    Study Rooms

    Universidad del Pacífico offers forty-nine study rooms, with a combined capacity of 292 people, to develop group assignments. These study rooms are booked online from the Virtual Campus and remain open until midnight.​
