Vice Presidency for Research

​The Vice Presidency for Research was created in 2015 to reinforce the importance of research and the generation of knowledge at Universidad del Pacífico.  Its main functions are to propose and direct the general research policy of the University, including the conduct of competitions and the allocation of funds and prizes for intellectual production.   It supervises the research activities carried out by students, faculty and associate researchers, in accordance with the mission and objectives established in the University's Statute and Strategic Plan.  It establishes the University Press policy, in coordination with its president.  In addition, together with the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs, it promotes the exchange and international mobility of professor-researchers.

​Vice President for Research at Universidad del Pacífico. Full professor of the Department of Economics at Universidad del Pacífico and member of the Research Center of this university. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Master of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University and Licenciatura (Professional license) in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. She has been Dean and Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Finance, and Head of the Department of Economics at Universidad del Pacífico.
