EDGAR ALVA
CIUP (Universidad del Pacífico Research Center) researcher, Main professor and Head of the Academic Department of Accounting at Universidad del Pacífico. He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad de Deusto, in San Sebastian (Spain), a licentiate’s degree in Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico, and is an expert in Taxation from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has participated in several seminars and national and international conferences as attendee and speaker. He has been guest professor in Peruvian universities, as well as at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education) (Mexico), where he was speaker at various talks and conferences on taxation and management accounting. He has worked not only as Vice Dean of Accounting at Universidad del Pacífico, but also as Secretary General a.i., Director of SAR a.i., School Board member and member of the University Assembly. He has provided many consulting services for the public sector, such as the Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT), and the private sector, such as electricity distribution companies, among others, in the areas of financial accounting, budgeting, costs, and taxation.

MARTHA CHAVEZ

Vice President for Academic Affairs of Universidad del Pacífico. Full professor of the Department of Accounting at Universidad del Pacífico and member of the Research Center of this university. She has a Ph.D. in Accounting and Business Studies from Universidad Nacional de San Marcos, a Master’s in Administration and a Licenciatura (Professional license) in Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico. She has been Dean of the School of Business, Associate Dean of Accounting and Head of the Department of Accounting at Universidad del Pacífico.

Main professor in the Academic Department of Accounting at Universidad del Pacífico. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh (USA) and a degree in Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico. He has conducted several studies in the field of financial statement auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

(United States), a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Licentiate Title in Accounting from Universidad Del Pacífico. Currently, she is carrying out doctoral studies in Accounting and Businesses Sciences at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
