Director of Universidad del Pacífico’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Bachelor’s degree and Licentiate title in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. Has studied specializations in Investment Banking in Germany and Switzerland.
He has been a resident adviser of the Bayerische Hypo-und Vereinsbank AG -HypoVereinsbank, and Bank von Ernst from Switzerland. Currently, apart from serving as director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, he is a professional manager of the Investor Network Angeles UP4angels, of Universidad del Pacífico’s Center for Entrepreneurship "Emprende UP" and President of the Peruvian Crowdfunding Association.
Salinas shows special interest in the development of new businesses and the support for entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Peru and Latin America, and to promote financing for early stages as Crowdfunding and Angel Networks in the region. In 2015, he participated in the team from Universidad del Pacífico that developed the Proposal of National Entrepreneurship Policy, officially commissioned by the Peruvian government and the Andean Development Corporation - CAF.
