ALEJANDRO FLORES

Professional Profile

Main professor and Head of the Academic Department of Management in the School of Business Sciences at Universidad del Pacífico. He holds a PhD in Economics and Business from Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao - Spain. He also pursued studies in the MBA program at Universidad de Deusto, in Bilbao - Spain.
He has undertaken specialization studies on innovation in teaching at Harvard Business School, INCAE, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and Instituto de Empresas.
He has experience in innovation management and competitive strategy. He has conducted various research works on enterprise innovation and regional innovation systems in Peru. Currently, he conducts studies, along with a team of national and international researchers, on issues of innovation and their impact on the performance of organizations.
Alejandro Flores is a member of the Board of Instituto Nacional de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (the National Institute for the Defense of Free Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property - INDECOPI). He has been Dean of the Graduate School of Universidad del Pacífico, Vice Dean of the School of Business Sciences, and President of Propyme, among other responsibilities.
