Non tenured Professor at Universidad del Pacífico Academic Department of Law. He is a Doctor in Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he belongs to the Advanced Studies Program in Human Rights and Advanced Studies in Philosophy of Law. He also completed a Spanish Law postgraduate program at Universidad Alcala de Henares and obtained a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has been in charge of the Procedural Law, Constitutional Law, and Philosophy of Law courses. He has also expanded his activities to other universities as a visiting professor giving seminars and lectures. In addition, he has authored several books and articles on his specialty.
He regularly collaborates as an independent consultant with prestigious firms and public and private institutions. He has participated giving legal advice to important public bodies such as the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administracion Tributaria (Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration). He has provided legal advice to several private organizations, such as Citibank, Oxfam, and the Institute of Contemporary Art. He has also been an advisor and consultant on various issues pursued before the Inter-American Human Rights System.
