ROSA MARÍA FUCHS

Professional Profile

Associate professor at Universidad del Pacífico Academic Department of Management. She is a doctoral candidate in the Business Management Program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain) and has obtained a Master of Research in Management Sciences from Universidad ESAN, Peru. She holds an International MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Spain) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Universidad del Pacífico.
She is also a certified Leader Coach from The Coaching Project Canada and Universidad del Pacífico and has participated in the Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning from Harvard Business School.
She has research experience related to people management: work-life balance, job roots, measuring of human potential, talent retention strategies, gender diversity in the workplace and generation Y. The papers have been presented in conferences such as Academy of Management, BALAS, IAJBS, IHRM, and CLADEA and have been locally and internationally recognized and published. She lectures on matters related to strategy and people management at undergraduate and graduate levels. She has conducted workshops on change management, teamwork, and strategic planning and has participated in the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Goldman Sachs joint project “10,000 Women” training women entrepreneurs.
In addition, Rosa María has held the position of Vice Dean of Management at the School of Business Sciences, among other positions within the institution. As a consultant she has directed various recruitment processes. She was member of the Organization Committee at CADE for Education 2015.
