How does Universidad del Pacífico relate to the Society of Jesus?

At the beginning of the institutional life, the Society of Jesus took over, temporarily, the administrative and academic part of Universidad del Pacífico, and is therefore recognized as one of its founders.

Since then, it has continuously collaborated and takes part in the strategic decision-making of Universidad del Pacífico, which is currently part of the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America (AUSJAL), made up of twenty-eight universities from fifteen countries of Latin America.
