Professional Profile

Professor at Universidad del Pacífico Academic Department of Economics and researcher at the university’s Research Center. Currently, he serves as Coordinator at the of Social Policies, Human Development, and Civil Society area. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master in Economics and Finance from CEMFI (Spain). He holds a Licentiate Title in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.
Mr. Lavado has experience as professor at Universidad del Pacífico Graduate School in the Master in Economics, Social Investment, and Public Management programs. Additionally, he worked in the Superintendence of Banking and Insurance, OSIPTEL, the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies, and the International Monetary Fund.
He has also served as Professional Associate at the World Bank and as assistant researcher at the Bank of Spain and the CEMFI.
