Forum on regional competitiveness and internationalization of Peruvian companies
September 03 , 2021
The event was held on June 22 and 23 and was organized by the University’s International Business Program together with the Association of Exporters (ADEX), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PROMPERU) and the National Society of Industries (SNI).
2020 was a dramatically negative year for the world due to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The most affected regions in economic terms were undoubtedly Latin America and Europe. Asia and China, on the other hand, were more resilient due to the concentration of efforts on their important domestic market.

The "Forum on regional competitiveness and internationalization of Peruvian companies" was a joint effort of Universidad del Pacífico, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Promperu, the Exporters Association, the National Society of Industries and international cooperation such as UNIDO, to present the internationalization capabilities of Peruvian companies, the business strategies of the regions and the experiences of other countries such as China and the Basque Country.
