In accordance with Law No. 29733 (hereinafter, the Law) and Supreme Decree No. 003-2013-JUS (hereinafter, the Regulation), the user authorizes, by their signature or any other form of express automated acceptance, the processing of personal data of any kind (including image and voice) provided to Universidad del Pacífico (hereinafter, the University), by any physical or electronic means, according to the purposes described below.

The University, with registered office at Jr. Gral. Luis Sánchez Cerro 2141, Jesús María, Lima, Peru, in accordance with the Law of Data Privacy Protection, Law No. 29733 (hereinafter, the Law), its regulations and related provisions, declares to be the holder of the Personal Data Bank: Interested students/Applicants, and informs that the recipients of the personal data will be the Marketing office, the Academic Affairs Vice Presidency, and any other academic or administrative units of the University, which will keep the personal data permanently or until it is modified depending on its nature; in order to use it in academic, institutional, administrative and commercial procedures as well as to process and manage information for proper service provision and to meet the needs of its stakeholders.

Based on this, and in accordance with the provisions of article 58 of the Consumer Protection and Defense Code, the user authorizes the University to send information to the holder of the personal data on the undergraduate, graduate, executive education and language academic programs offered by the University, as well as surveys on satisfaction and educational service improvement, and information on academic, artistic, cultural and entertainment events organized by the University or any of its departments, for which it will use the mail, telephone, email or any other means of communication. The user also authorizes the University to share, give or transfer this information to third parties in order to carry out telemarketing activities through telephone call systems, text messaging, individual or mass emails to applicants or any other electronic means to promote products and services and to keep the data of the holders updated, under the assurance that it will not be affected by any misuse.

In case the user wishes to exercise their rights of access, cancellation, opposition, revocation of consent, modification or any other, they may contact the Data Intelligence office, located at Jr. Gral. Luis Sánchez Cerro 2141, Jesús María, Lima, Peru, or write to revocatoria.postulantes.interesados@up.edu.pe. This office has the obligation to inform about the procedures to assert the aforementioned rights.

Users are hereby informed that the forms, through which they provide their personal data, include mandatory and optional questions, which may be identified on each form. By providing personal data, the user authorizes the University to use it according to the purposes outlined in the preceding paragraphs. The user’s refusal to provide their personal data makes it impossible for the University to include it in the database that sends instant and up-to-date information regarding undergraduate, graduate (master's), executive education (extension) and language academic programs, surveys on satisfaction and educational service improvement, and information on academic, artistic, cultural and entertainment events, as well as other activities related to the University or its departments.
