BILATERAL STUDENT EXCHANGES
The Universidad del Pacífico has several bilateral student exchange agreements in Europe, the Americas and the Asian-Pacific region. These programs require students to pay tuition at their home institutions. Exchange students register as full-time students at the host university.
They are responsible for all expenses related to travel arrangements, accommodation, meals, living expenses, health insurance, books and other study materials. Students normally transfer the credits earned during their stay in the partner university to their university of origin. Every year, approximately 200 students either travel to or from the Universidad del Pacifico to participate in these exchanges.
VISITING STUDENTS PROGRAMS (STUDY ABROAD)
Visiting students who choose Universidad del Pacífico as a study abroad destination can earn credit on our campus during a full academic year or one semester. Unlike the bilateral exchange option, students pay tuition to the Universidad del Pacífico. After successfully completing their studies with us, they receive an official transcript that can be used to transfer the credits earned. No formal agreements between UP and the student’s university of origin need to be signed.
