Universidad del Pacífico Cultural Center and other important organizations will hold the FAE Lima 2017

​​The Lima Performing Arts Festival will bring 19 national and international plays from March 1 to 11 under the artistic direction of Marisol Palacios.

​​With the slogan, United by applause, the Lima Performing Arts Festival is a project driven by five institutions that produce and promote the development of performing arts in our city. This festival aims to be an artistic exchange platform that hosts national and international theatrical shows. It also has the support of the Peruvian North American Cultural Center and the British Council, and is sponsored by other institutions and private companies. 

The Lima Performing Arts Festival (FAE Lima 2017) will be held from March 1 to 11. It is organized and produced by Universidad del Pacífico Cultural Center, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Cultural Center, the British Cultural Centre, Universidad de Lima Cultural Center and Teatro La Plaza; presented by the Ministry of Culture and the Gran Teatro Nacional; and is under the artistic direction of Marisol Palacios. 

For eleven days, nineteen national and international plays will be seen: eight international (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, England, Spain and Uruguay) and eleven national shows that participated in the Peruvian Theater open call for the National Program. As part of the FAE Lima 2017 activities, direction and production workshops will be conducted, and you will be given the opportunity to participate in showcases and discussion boards. 

The plays will be presented in eleven spaces of the city: Teatro del Centro Cultural de la Universidad del Pacífico (Jesús María), Gran Teatro Nacional (San Borja), Teatro del Centro Cultural de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (San Isidro), Casa Yuyachkani (Magdalena), Teatro y Auditorio del Centro Cultural Británico (Miraflores), Teatro Central del Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Lima (Surco), Teatro La Plaza (Miraflores), Teatro Pirandello (Santa Beatriz), Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (downtown) and Huaca Mateo Salado (Cercado de Lima). 

The organizing institutions have the firm intention to return to the path of previous experiences in order to contribute to the growth and strengthening of our performing arts. That is why within the international guests are festival programmers from other countries in order to promote and encourage the internationalization of our artists.

Student fee: S /. 25 

Special fee for performing artists: S /. 30 

Special senior fee: S/. 30 

Season ticket (two international and three Peruvian plays): S /. 200
