Universidad del Pacífico has just signed an agreement with the world leader in SAP business applications for its worldwide SAP University Alliances program to bring students the latest SAP, ERP, SAP, NetWeaver and SAP HANA technologies, among others.
SAP University Alliances is a global program with more than 3100 member universities in over 106 countries that aims to shape the future of higher education. It is a collaboration space between UP and the SAP ecosystem where prototypes can be developed in specific scenarios and real clients, can analyze the value of solutions for industries and develop new business models, mobile applications and integration scenarios with SAP Cloud solutions.
Students will be able to understand business processes, data integration and the use of business tools. They will also be able to have a holistic approach to applications and technologies with access to learning tools and materials from SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver, Mobile Applications, Analytics and SAP HANA. "With this alliance, we are preparing students to develop their talent in a new ecosystem based on innovation and entrepreneurship," says Mario Chong, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering.
So far, Universidad del Pacífico has planned the organization of two events with SAP: The SAP HANA Cloud that was held on November 14, 2016 and SAP Internet of Things to be held on April 12, 2017. Our university also collaborated with the Women in Data Science at Stanford University, where we are ambassadors, on February 3, 2017.
