Universidad del Pacífico signed 26 new agreements during 2016
January 05 , 2017

International agreements include student exchange for up to one semester and in other cases joint research with other universities.

With the aim of offering a wide range of possibilities to its students, Universidad del Pacífico works hard to sign student mobility agreements with the most prestigious Universities in the world. During 2016, Universidad del Pacífico signed a total of 26 new agreements with different universities in Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Among the universities we signed an agreement with are EM Lyon Business School in France, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, RWTH Aachen in Germany, University of Texas in Dallas, United States and Goethe University in Germany.

"The criteria we use to seek agreements are for these universities to have accreditations, to be present in international rankings, to be part of a network we belong to and to have partners similar to us," explains Mariella Hernández, director of Universidad del Pacífico International Relations Office (ORI).

Mobility agreements allow the student to have the possibility to travel to another country and study a semester in the University that he wishes if he fulfills the stipulated requirements.

During 2016, 200 UP students studied in foreign universities with which we have an agreement, while 170 students from other countries came to our university. This, not counting UP students that enroll in short programs or go on study trips abroad, and those that we receive in our university.

This year more than 150 students will participate in the student mobility program.
