Graduates, professors, parents and authorities of Universidad del Pacífico gathered last Tuesday, December 13 to take part in the graduation ceremony. 

The event featured the words of the President of our university, Elsa Del Castillo who had emotional words for the newly graduated and urged them to set an example in their daily and professional activities. 

"Our graduates bring to their daily life the sense of purpose, which is an essential part that characterizes the UP community members. Perhaps that is why their presence where they work and where they participate taking any role does not go unnoticed. And that is where our greatest hopes are set: in you, along with us and many others," said our president. 

On the other hand, Enrique Saravia, Vice Dean of Management, read the speech prepared by Gina Pipoli, Dean of the School of Business Studies. 

"Universidad del Pacífico has always been well known for its academic excellence and its solid formation in values. So, the message I want to leave today that you start a new stage in your life, is that from now on, every time you have to make an important decision in your life, remember the lessons you received at Universidad del Pacífico, which was always concerned about training you as responsible leaders for the world," said part of the dean's speech. 

As in each graduation ceremony, the most outstanding students were awarded the Robert Maes special award and the merit awards. The awardees were as follows: 

Micaela Elias Flechelle from the Management Program 

1st place in Management: Micaela Elías Flechelle 

2nd place in Management: Daniela Benzaquén Bellido 

3rd place in Management: Nicole Cenzano Bohl 

1st place in Accounting: José Ricardo Rioja Ruiz 

2nd place in Accounting: Jinko Mariel Kanno Kamisato
