Graduates of Universidad del Pacífico celebrated their "Golden Jubilee"

​The Celebration was held on May 25, 2016. In 2012, Universidad del Pacífico also celebrated 50 years of institutional life.

It's been 50 years since they graduated from Universidad del Pacífico and they celebrated in style.

In an emotional ceremony, the university paid tribute to the graduates of their first class. Former students attended with their family and friends.

The celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the first class began with a Mass held by Father José Leopoldo Piedra in the University Chapel. Afterwards, a guided tour through the facilities of the institution took place.

The tour ended in Building I, where President Elsa Del Castillo and licentiate Estuardo Marrou, representative of the first class, led an emotional speech in honor of the guests.

In the event, held on May 25, 2016, the alumni received an institutional memento of their time at the University.

​​Rocío Lizárraga, a graduate of the UP Business Engineering degree program, presented the Space Odyssey project at the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2023, the world's biggest hackathon, where she and her ASTROGENESIS team competed with 587 other teams worldwide.
