CECILIA O'NEILL
DEAN OF THE LAW SCHOOL

Dean of the School of Law of Universidad del Pacifico Professor of the Academic Department of Law of Universidad del Pacifico. She graduated from a doctorate in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, a Master's degree in Law from the University of Pennsylvania (United States) and a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. She has experience as a teacher in charge of courses in Civil Law and the Film and Law course. She has worked in consulting activities related to various public service and infrastructure industries, as well as designing private initiatives for the development of public infrastructure. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Sui Iuris-Network of Ibero-American Law Schools. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Peruvian Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club. In addition, she is a member of the Latin American and Ibero-American Chapter of the Institute of International Commercial Law of the International Chamber of Commerce of Paris and a member of the International Court of the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru-AMCHAM.

CARLOS J. ZELADA
VICE DEAN OF LAW

Vice Dean of Law and Associate Professor at Universidad del Pacífico. He has a Master of Law (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School (United States) and is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. He has specialized studies at Harvard Business School (United States), the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg (France) and The Hague Academy of International Law (Netherlands). He has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in courses on Public International Law, Human Rights and International Relations. He has been a professor at the George Washington University School of Law (United States) and at the International Center for Political Studies (CIEP) at the National University of San Martín (Argentina). He has served as a senior specialist for the Rapporteurship for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in Washington, DC (USA). His current research areas are hate speech within the framework of the right to freedom of expression and the legal regulation of sexuality, especially focused on gender identity and sexual orientation. He has been an advisor to various civil society organizations linked to the collection of testimonies for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Peru. He has worked as a consultant for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Pan American Health Organization, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Foundation Konrad Adenauer, the Trust for the Americas, the International Human Rights Clinic of the George Washington University (United States), the Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information (CELE) of the University of Palermo (Argentina), among other.

ANDRÉS CALDERÓN
CHAIR DEPARTMENT OF LAW

Professor and Chair of the Department of Law. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Yale University (United States). He is a lawyer and holds Bachelor’s degree a law both from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
