ANDRES CALDERON

Professional Profile

Professor at the Academic Department of Law. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Yale University (United States), is a lawyer and holds a bachelor's degree in Law; both from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

He has served as a professor in charge of courses in Competition Law and Consumer Protection, Administrative Law, Regulation of Media and Information Technology and Commercial Law at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is an associate researcher at the Universidad de Palermo Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information (Argentina). He has been a Fulbright fellow and at the Ronald Coase Institute.

He is a columnist for "El Comercio" newspaper, where he served as Central Editor. He has been Technical Secretary of the Dispute Resolution Tribunal at OSIPTEL, an international consultant on Antitrust issues for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (Washington, United States) and Summer Fellow at the Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic at Yale University (United States).
